The Kennel Manager has the overall responsibility for ensuring that all the daily routines are carried out properly. They may also be required to do some of the physical work in the kennels. Good organisational or management skills and some sort of animal care related qualification some practical experience working with animals is essential.
Training and volunteering experience is preferential for this role. You can gain a relevant Ofqual regulated qualification by studying the Level 3 Diploma in Kennel and Cattery Management.
